Supatracks 1100 Boot Studs.
My main lure fishing is done in estuaries. I have been using Vass thigh waders and have a pair of Vass chest ones, but I don’t tend to wade very deep. I wear some if the need arises. The ground is very rocky and covered in Bladderack weed, which tends to be very slippery and potentially very dangerous.
So the need for any help with grip is a must for me. Last year, I looked for some boot studs and read some reviews on some different makes. I heard about the Supatracks studs website Here, they have some different sizes for different boots and terrain.

I decided to go with the 1100 size ones Here, I first fitted them to my chest waders and later to my thigh waders. I was amazed how much grip they give you walking over the weed-covered rocks; you can still slip a little sometimes, but the studs seem to grip in quickly.

You can buy the studs in whatever quantity you wish, There is also a kit where you get a tool that is necessary for installing the studs. Once you have the tool, you can just purchase extra studs as you need them.

Having just changed over to breathable waist waders, I needed to get some wading boots, I went for the Bestard SAR Pro Water Rescue Boots, Unboxing and Preview Here, so it was a matter of getting some more studs. Here is a close-up of them fitted in the Boots.

And here is the final result: 12 studs fitted to each boot and all set for trying out my new boots. The soles are quite hard on the boots, and a couple were a bit difficult to get exactly right, but overall, they are looking good.
Conclusion.
The Supatracks 1100 Boot Studs suit my needs for my lure fishing, these are the shortest studs they do, you can put in longer ones if you so wish, but I find these adequate for me, I do also use a cheap walking pole when going over rough ground, which does help a lot too, especially if your not so stable on your feet. I would recommend anyone looking for boot studs to have a look at these, but also check out some alternatives, I have noticed on my last two orders some a bit bent and this will not help screwing them into your boots, a little more care from Supatracks and checking them before dispatch could be done.
