The W3 double-sided terminal tackle boxes are Westin’s solution to the storage needs of all the bits and pieces. Keep all terminal tackle safe, dry, and neatly organized for the next fishing trip. The medium-sized W3 terminal tackle box features four sturdy dividers for the main compartment on one side and 8 fixed compartments on the other side. The smaller-sized tackle box is set up with 5 fixed compartments on each side.
Features!
The Hinges are made from a POM ( Polyoxymethylene ) material for extra durability.
The Lid and Base are produced from a 100% PP ( Polypropylene ) Material.
Ideal for storing terminal tackle, such as swivels, rings, and weights.
The Small Box!
The Small box measures 10,7 x 7,4 x 3 cm, it has 10 fixed cavities that can be opened individually, and I have one to store surplus Lure clips, swivels, and any small bits in it at Home.
The Medium Box!
The Medium Box measures 13,2 x 9,7 x 4,4 cm, it has 8 fixed cavities and one large cavity with four dividers, I carry one of these in my Bag.
My Medium Box!
This is The box that I carry on my fishing days, as you can see it holds a fair amount of bits, I got 2 spools of fluorocarbon, Twistlock hooks, Weighted Hooks, Jig Head hooks, Single Inline hooks, Split rings, 2 different types of Lure Clips. This box fits on its end into the front pocket of my HPA chest pack Bag.
Conclusion!
The Westin W3 Terminal tackle boxes are a great piece of kit, the clamshell design makes it great to stop things falling from them, and the hinges seem very sturdy and should last well as I don’t open them a lot. The catches for the lids also seem strong and again should last well as I only open one or two of them a session. As you can see from the image above you can carry a lot of things in it and it perfectly suits my needs for a fishing session.
At this time I cannot find any fault with these boxes, I purchased these boxes and this is my honest review of them. I purchased the small box from Lowen-Chy Angling and the Medium from Another shop. For more information the links below for the Westin Page and Lowen-Chy Angling.
